GNIT, Nagpur (Affiliated to RTM Nagpur University)

The Electronics Engineering Research Centre at GNIT, Nagpur, affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), offers research programmes leading to the award of the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the Faculty of Engineering (Electronics Engineering).

The programme is designed to promote advanced research, innovation, and scholarly contributions in emerging and core areas of Electronics Engineering.

Mode of Ph.D. Programme
  • Full-Time Mode
  • Part-Time Mode

Ph.D. is not permitted in distance education mode, as per UGC and RTMNU regulations.

Duration of the Programme
  • Minimum: 3 years after confirmation
  • Maximum: 7 years from confirmation

Ph.D. is not a fixed-duration programme. Extensions governed by RTMNU rules.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Postgraduate degree (M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent) in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks
  • NET/SET/GATE/M.Phil qualified candidates exempted from written entrance examination
  • Personal interview is mandatory for all candidates
  • Qualifying score must be valid on application date
  • Experience is not compulsory; graduates without postgraduate degree not eligible
