The Central Library of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, established in the year 2007, plays a crucial role in supporting the academic, instructional, and research needs of the institute. The library functions as a knowledge resource center, catering to students, faculty members, and researchers across all disciplines.
The library is spread over an area of 510.35 sq. meters and provides a well-ventilated, quiet, and learner-friendly environment. It has a seating capacity for 150 users, facilitating individual study, reference work, and academic discussions.
The library collection consists of 4,110 titles with a total of 20,811 volumes, covering engineering, technology, applied sciences, and general studies. The resources are systematically organized to ensure easy access and efficient utilization.
To meet modern academic requirements, the library is equipped with 10 multimedia computers, enabling access to digital learning materials, e-resources, and online academic databases. The library continuously upgrades its resources and services in line with NAAC, and AICTE quality benchmarks.

The library provides access to a variety of electronic resources to support teaching, learning, and research activities.
GNIT Library is a member of Developing Library Network (DELNET) which provides services like browsing of Union Catalogue, Inter Library loan and Document Delivery Services. Interested reader can access the catalogues of other libraries through DELNET and request the required books/documents to be procured from these libraries on loan for a limited period.

Access KNIMBUSReP is a digital library initiative by the Government of India, aiming to provide free access to non-academic reading materials for children and adolescents. It is managed under the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the National Book Trust (NBT).
